About SashaSasha

SashaSasha started as a project for me and my daughter, Sasha.

I wanted her to learn about entrepreneurship, but I wanted her to learn it by actually doing it—not by reading about it or pretending to start a business for a school project.

Sasha loves art and is always drawing, so we started there. We wondered if we could take some of her artwork and turn it into something real. Print on demand gave us an easy way to try.

So we started SashaSasha.

Neither of us knew exactly what we were doing when we started. That was really the point. We could figure it out together and Sasha could see what happens when you take an idea seriously enough to actually do something with it.

Along the way, she's learning that starting something takes work, that your first idea isn't always your best one, and that it's okay to change your mind. She's also getting to experience the really fun part—seeing something she drew become something that actually exists in the world.

I'm learning right alongside her.

SashaSasha is still very much a work in progress. We don't know exactly what it will become, and we're not in a hurry to figure that out.

For now, we're just making something together and seeing where it goes.
